Training

I create and deliver training that puts Editors first — practical, real-world guidance that makes managing a CMS feel natural and stress-free.

I’m working closely with the Plone Training team on an ongoing basis to develop and refine Plone Volto material tailored for day-to-day content management. This isn’t theory for theory’s sake: every exercise is shaped around the tasks Editors actually face.

I’ll be presenting this approach as a training session and workshop at the 2025 Plone Conference in Jyväskylä, Finland.

Staying active and connected

I’ve been a Plone Foundation member since 2023, and staying active in the community is something I take seriously. I’m part of the Plone Training team, working with others to create and refine materials that make Plone easier for Editors to use. I help out with marketing activities when I can, and I take part in Plone Tune-up Days — those focused, collaborative sprints where contributors tackle tasks big and small together.

Whenever I build something useful, I share it on GitHub so others in the community can pick it up, adapt it, and make it better. It’s a simple way to give back, and it keeps me connected to the people who make Plone what it is. For me, community involvement isn’t a side activity — it’s part of how I work.

Plone Conferences

Attending Plone Conferences is one of the most rewarding parts of my work at Juizi. These events bring together developers, designers, content managers, and decision-makers from all over the world — all with a shared interest in building better websites with Plone.

I go to share what I’ve learned, to listen, and to connect. The talks I deliver, the conversations I have, and the contributions I make are not only an investment in my own growth, but also a way to give back to the community that has shaped so much of my work. Every idea exchanged and every problem solved together feeds back into how I approach projects for Juizi’s clients.

In his 2022 opening talk, Érico Andrei reminded us that we need to be generous with our time. Since then, I’ve made a point of being as generous as possible — whether that’s through contributing to projects, helping refine ideas, or simply showing up to support someone else’s work.

The relationships I’ve built and the knowledge shared at these conferences have been invaluable, and giving back in return feels like the natural thing to do.
